Risk Management
Over the last two years, there has been a sharp increase in the amount of attention given to work-related road risk, as evidenced by some very high profile prosecutions. The recent Corporate Manslaughter bill is another indication of this. Thankfully, the “Driving at Work" guidelines issued in late 2003 by the HSE give a very clear instruction: Employers must take “all reasonably practicable precautions" to protect their employees while driving at work.
To address this need, ING Car Lease has developed ING Risk Assist; a robust and auditable system of risk management that assesses and addresses the needs of all employees who drive on business. Unlike consultancies, ING Risk Assist takes the process a step further and as well as offering advice, gets actively involved in the risk management process. Our aim is to take the chore of gathering information and interpreting data away from our clients and provide them with clear and concise information that gives an accurate picture of the risks faced by the drivers and the steps that have been taken to minimise them.
